Sol. We have, a 1 = sin 1, a 2 = sin 2, a 3 = sin 3, a n = sin 4 etc. We easily note that a 2 > a 1 and a 3 < a 2 (1 radian = 57º approx.)
Thus the sequence a n = sin n is non monotonic.
